Utah Goldbacks

Utah Goldbacks are 24k gold foil notes carrying artwork specific to the Utah series. The gold purity and denomination system are identical to every other state series — what differs is the design and mintage.

Utah is the original series — the state where Goldbacks were first issued in 2019 — which makes it the natural starting point for a collection. Like every state series, notes are spendable as a voluntary local currency with participating Utah businesses, as well as held simply as a physical, fractional way to own gold.
