Yield starts at 1% a year from 10 coins of one type or 100 Goldbacks, rising to 2% at 10,000 coins of one type or 75,000 Goldbacks. Yearly credits are added to the holding automatically. Reaching a step does not switch yield on: you choose which holdings earn it after reading the terms.
