1/4 (Quarter) Florida Goldback Alpha 24k Gold Foil Note

Description

A quarter Goldback holds 1/4000 of a troy ounce of 24-carat gold. It is the smallest denomination made, a small introduction to the series and a keepsake to share. Florida takes it underwater.

The artwork

A classical female figure sits at the centre of a marine scene drawn from Florida's coastal waters, surrounded by ocean life and shoreline detail. The aquatic motifs running through the composition carry the layered symbolism the series is known for — navigation, stability and renewal are all present as imagery rather than captions.

Under UV light a second layer of detail appears beneath the visible artwork. That layer is one of the harder features to reproduce and, in practice, it is the thing most owners show people first.

This is an Alpha Edition note, identified by the small α symbol beside the mintage date on the note itself — not by the serial number.

Who this note suits

Buy this if you want to hold a Goldback in your hand before committing to a larger denomination, if you are building the Florida series from the bottom up, or as a small gift that introduces someone to real gold.

Make it part of your story

Choose a Florida design for a memory of the coast, a family connection or simply the detail that catches your eye. A gold note gives that choice a physical place in your collection.

The price includes artwork and manufacture as well as gold. Condition and collector demand can affect resale.
