2011 China Mint 1oz Silver 10 Yuan Panda Coin

The 2011 10 Yuan Silver Panda marks the 23rd year of the 1 oz silver Panda BU series. The reverse features a panda cub nuzzling its parent in a bamboo forest — a charming design by Rocky Zhao of the Shanghai Mint, who also created the celebrated 2014 Panda coins. The obverse uses the fourth version of the Temple of Heaven design, with an outer frosted ring containing the date and legend.

The Chinese Silver Panda series launched in 1983 and is one of the world's most collected bullion coin programmes, celebrated for its annually changing reverse designs. Each coin is struck in .999 fine silver and issued as legal tender by the People's Republic of China.
